I was Domestic
Aug. 28th, 2005 12:44 amAfter a slow, but crappy, day of work, I headed over to Margaret's and dragged her off to the grocery store. I had deiced to cook her, her brother and her boyfriend dinner tonight in exchange for the cool time (and free beer) I had there last month. So, I picked up four nice Delmonico steaks, bacon, Montreal steak seasoning and had at their grill. Mmmmmm do I cook a good piece of beefcritter - good beefcritter at that. I have this issue with cheap steaks. I won't buy them. I don't care how cost effective it is to get bottom round and whatnot, but I won't do it. If I want a steak I will go to the store that day and buy a good steak fresh. I also don't freeze steaks because they don't taste good after you've thawed them. Yes, I'm weird about the meat. Blame my brother and father on that one.
The steaks came out real good and we did some fire-grill potatoes with sourcream and cheddar cheese. Margaret made an interesting angelfood cake concotion with raspberries and whipped cream. Dinner was good and yes, Sin can cook. I just don;t like cooking for only me.
