Dead Pigeon

I had a dead pigeon at my store today. I almost felt sorry for it. Except it had flown into the ventalation fan on the roof and was summarily chopped into pigeon bits which the fan then decided to expel across the back of my parking lot.

I just couldn't feel bad for the stupid thing then, because I had to clean up pigeon bits off my parking lot today. Which, sadly, was the highlight of my workday.

We've been sold.

McDonald's has come to an agreement with Sun Capital Partners, Inc to sell Boston Market. The deal will be finalized by the end of the quarter (September for those that aren't business aware). SCP, Inc is the parent company that owns Fazoli's and Breuggers Bagels.

We'll see what kind of changes they'll be making once the sale is concluded.
