ninjasinJust a small break in the hecticness that is Sue's wedding. Yesterday was the rehersal dinner. Good foods, cool ceremony and I get to unsheathe my sword. Yay! Sue gave us these scrapbooks she put together of memories she has with each of us in her wedding party with pictures, art, etc. She also put in a cd with the final episode of Buffy on it (since Buffy Night was a big thing in college for us), a cd with various pictures, songs, art and videos of other memories, a hand-drawn portrait of me and a letter. I cried. I'm going to miss her so much, but she and Drew will come out to visit sometime, so it'll be great.
Today's the bachelorette party (been going on through mst of the day). We took Sue to a day spa for uberpampering, then to Molly Branagan's (Irish Pub) for lunch and embarassment. *grins* I have a deck of bachelorette dare cards that are so much fun. I'm already in so much trouble as it is for them. Plus we have her wearing a tiara, a bachelorette sash, beads (including purple ones - Sue hates purple) and making her carry her wand around.
I'm on break from bachelorette festivities right now because I need to have my mom paint my head, so they're at a pottery gallery and I'm waiting for Mom to come home. Tonight we're going to see The Corpse Bride at Tinsletown. I might end up skipping it because that's a drive into Erie and then back again to Mom's and I'm not real thrilled with the prospect of seeing it but we'll see.
Right now I'm wearing around ym wedding shoes trying to break them in so my feet don't kill me tomorrow. Hair appointment at 8am and then off to the Peak. I'll be staying there with Josh and Neal tomorrow night than back to West Virginia Sunday. Busy, busy, busy...
Side note: I've decided not to get another cat for a while for several reasons.
