ninjasinI, being the bored person I am today, was poking around on various anime websites and stumbled into a review section of a very Shoujo-ai website (so what if I've been cruising for good Noir fanfic which inevitably finds me on a shoujo-ai/yuri site). Interesting enough, I've found the best review description of the Adolescence of Utena movie.
This movie is like a beautiful woman that you can't understand. You want to keep her around just to look at her because she's so pretty.
So very accurate. I read the Adolescence manga one day while I was moonlighting the local Barnes & Noble. The manga actually makes sense. I'll have to buy it one day to complete my Utena manga collection as I have all the other ones. On a manga related note, I was at Borders yesterday and read the latest issue of Rebirth. Very happy with the series. I love vampire stuff that doesn't romanticize them but also doesn't make them nasty mindless monsters. I'm still upset they turned my favorite character, the hot American exorcist, into a vampire, but it's bringing out some interesting part sof her personality that she never voiced before. Guess I'll wait and see. I miss my manga collection, damnit. *sniffs* It's in Pittsburgh right now.
