I decided to go ahead and beat FFXII today. There's so much more I can do in the game, but I wanted to know how the story ended. I very much enjoyed the story. I know some people in general were put off by the political story, but I think it's a real nice break from the "world ending catastrophe" story that Final Fantasy has perfected. I liked how this one was more muted in realism with its storyline and how even two nobodies, in the right place at the right time with the right drive, can really make a difference. This is my favorite of the Final Fantasies. I hope XIII is just as good.
