Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office advised the Thatchers against offering a monetary reward as they simply did not have the man power available to sort through the influx of false leads and bogus reports. There is heavy tension between the police and the parents.
Denver PD is following up on potential gang involvement regarding the Costa case and a possible connection between them and the daughter.
There is an ATM camera photo of a girl believed to be Jessica Thatcher in the background walking with a taller white male in jeans and a plain t-shirt. The quality of the photo is poor and not enough for facial recognition software to be used.
